On June 1st every year, Eratech organizes trips to create meaningful experiences for the “Eratech kids” after a year of hard studying. Additionally, Eratech aims for these trips to contribute to giving children in difficult circumstances in the places we visit a truly meaningful and memorable June 1st.
This year, we have chosen Nam Du as our travel destination, an island commune in Kiên Hải District where life is still tough. The locals primarily make a living through fishing, and the children live either in the mountains or along the coast. Despite the challenging commute, they strive to attend school every day.
Coinciding with our trip, on June 1st, the local authorities of the commune, in collaboration with the resort where our company is staying, are organizing a football tournament for children under 11 years old. This event will take place in the afternoon of May 30, 2024, and will feature four teams from the four hamlets of Hòn Lớn. In the spirit of engaging with the children of Nam Du, we, along with the numerous children from Eratech and An Nghiệp, have organized a friendly match with the winning team of Nam Du. This event will allow the children to interact, learn from each other, and promote the spirit of unity and sportsmanship.
And in the spirit of sharing, the company has allocated a fund of 10 million VND to sponsor the prizes for the football tournament. After the tournament, we will collaborate with the local authorities to distribute charity school bags and essential supplies to underprivileged, diligent students in the island district.
